Everything changed when a soccer scholarship brought me to the United States and someone took a chance on a kid who didn't fit the traditional athlete profile. I was undersized, unassuming, and far from intimidating. But I learned early that heart, grit, and determination could take you places talent alone could not. From that moment on, I committed myself to showing up authentically, working harder than expected, and proving that potential matters more than pedigree.
