Dare to Be Different
I didn’t grow up with golf. In Jamaica, the sport was reserved for tourists and the wealthy—certainly not for kids like me. I couldn’t imagine watching it, much less playing it. So building a golf brand? That was never supposed to be part of my story. But life has a way of redirecting us to where we’re meant to be.
My detour began with a soccer scholarship that I didn’t seek out and didn’t feel qualified for. A coach saw something in me—potential buried under uncertainty—and offered a second chance disguised as opportunity. It was an unexpected leap across the ocean and into a completely different life. That moment taught me that sometimes you’re not chosen because you’re the best on paper… you’re chosen because someone believes there’s more in you than you’ve ever been allowed to show.
Since then, I’ve lived a life that hasn’t followed any traditional playbook. I’ve been the one who didn’t “fit the mold” in school, in business, and even in my professional achievements. I wasn’t the most qualified. I wasn’t the most obvious pick. But I worked harder, cared deeper, and refused to shrink to make others comfortable. Being different became my competitive advantage.
Baad Sheep Golf was born from that mindset. This brand is for the golfers who fight for every shot and every chance—on the course and in life. It’s for those who laugh off the bad breaks, keep grinding after the double bogey, and carry a quiet fire that refuses to go out. We don’t aspire to perfection; we aspire to progress. We show up authentically, flaws and all, because authenticity is where confidence lives.
Our belief system is simple: Dare to be different. Be your authentic self. Swing filthy. Stay humble. Wooly soft. Savage beast. These aren’t taglines—they’re truths that come from the way we’ve had to play the game long before we ever touched a golf club.
Golf didn’t start my journey, but it has become the space where everything finally connects—where grit meets joy, where individuality is celebrated, and where I can bring others along for the ride. If you’ve ever been underestimated, if you’ve ever fought for the spot you were given, if you carry a spark inside that refuses to die—you’re already a Baad Sheep.
Thanks for being here. Thanks for believing in what’s possible.
